Sneak Peek at My Three New Narrative Podcast Series Coming in 2026

This year, I’ll be releasing three brand-new narrative podcast series, all created and hosted by me. These will follow in the tradition of shows like In the Red Clay, Fox Hunter, In the Land of Lies, and Drowning Creek—long-form, deeply reported stories with original music and immersive sound design.
Each of these new series is built around a different true story, but they all have a few things in common: real investigations, complicated people, and the kind of small-town undercurrents I’ve been drawn to for years. Some will take me far outside Georgia—think Texas, Montana, California, and beyond—as I follow leads, chase interviews, and try to untangle the truth from decades of rumor and bad information.
I’m not quite ready to share titles or full story details yet, but all three shows are in active production now, with the first planned to launch in early 2026 and the others rolling out across the year, hopefully by summer. As with my previous work, I’ll be writing, hosting, and producing, so if you’ve liked the style and tone of my past series, you’ll feel right at home here.
If you want to be the first to hear trailers, see key art, or get behind-the-scenes updates from the field, make sure you’re subscribed to the newsletter and following me on social media. I’ll be sharing more specifics—including release dates, episode counts, and where to listen—as we get closer to launch.
Thank you for sticking with me and my work over the years. The response to these shows has been incredible, and it’s the reason I’m able to take on three new investigations. I can’t wait for you to hear what’s coming in 2026.

As a Georgia native having lived in Gwinnett, Barrow and Walton County I remember the Michael Chapel and Justin Gaines cases. You have done an excellent job with your research and conveying the cases.
Praying for Erika Gaines for answers and closure and Michael for his case to finally be heard and him to be release back to his family.
Can’t wait Sean!!!
Can't wait for these new shows! You're a phenomenal researcher and storyteller, and your journalism is making a difference. Thanks so much for all your hard work!
