On Friday, April 28, 2023 the "Coleman-Baker Act" was signed into Georgia State Law. This law is the first of it's kind in the history of our Nation at the State level. The Coleman-Baker Act not only gives the families of victims of unsolved homicides a place to turn for answers, but also gives them the opportunity to have those cases re-examined by law enforcement. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was also awarded $5.4 million to fully fund and operate a cold-case unit. I would like to personally say Thank You to everyone who played a part in making this happen, and of course to the Coleman family for allowing me the honor of telling Rhonda's heartbreaking story to the world.
